To Users Logging in with X (formerly Twitter) / Facebook — Please Set Up Email Address Login

Thank you for using our litter-picking SNS "Pirika".

This is an announcement and a request from the Pirika SNS development team regarding login method setup.

With the recent iOS/Android app update, we have discontinued the X (formerly Twitter, hereafter "X") login and Facebook login functions.

If you have been using only X login or Facebook login, please register your email address on the Pirika SNS web version so that you can continue using Pirika.

Please Set Up as Soon as Possible

You can still log in with X or Facebook on the Pirika SNS web version (www.pirika.org) for now, but we plan to discontinue the X and Facebook login functions on the web version as well in the future.

Once the web version login functions are discontinued, you will no longer be able to log in to accounts that only have X or Facebook login set up, and you will not be able to carry over your past posts, badges, and other data.

Please make sure to register your email address before the discontinuation.

Who This Applies To

• Users who have been logging in to Pirika SNS only with X (formerly Twitter) or Facebook

If you have already set up "Email address", "Sign in with Google", or "Sign in with Apple", no action is required.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Register your email address

1. Open www.pirika.org in a web browser
2. Log in with X (formerly Twitter) or Facebook
3. From the icon in the upper right, open "User Information Settings"
4. Enter your email address in the "Email Address" field (Please register an email address you are currently using)
5. Press the "Submit" button

Step 2: Set your password

Since accounts using X login or Facebook login do not have a password set, please set your initial password on the password reset screen.

Note: The verification code will be sent from sns@pirika.org. Please make sure your registered email address is configured to accept emails from sns@pirika.org in advance.

1. Open www.pirika.org/password/reset
2. Enter the email address you registered in Step 1 and submit
3. Enter the 6-digit verification code included in the email you receive
4. Enter your new password to complete the setup

Step 3: Confirm that you can log in from the app

1. Open the Pirika SNS app on iOS/Android
2. Confirm that you can log in with the email address and password you set up

Setup is now complete
